June 3, 10 and 15 – Festival Choir

TWO REHEARSALS: Tuesday night, June 3rd, 6:00-6:45p, and Tuesday night, June 10th, 6:00-6:45p
ONE SUNDAY OF MINISTRY: Sunday morning, June 15th, 8:30a (for 9:00a service)
Pastor Bill Hartley and our Worship Director Evelyn Wilson will be co-leading this special choir offering in Honor of Trinity Sunday. We’ll be doing two anthems, and assist in cantoring for worship.
A short-term commitment! We know that many can’t be in choir week-in and week-out, but hopefully MANY of you can join us for this one-off opportunity. A great opportunity for anyone who likes to
sing, at any skill level. MEN! We need more of you especially!

June 22 – Congregational Meeting, 10:30a

We will be introducing and affirming our new Board members for the upcoming year.

June 22 – July 20 – Better Man Men’s Gatherings at Canyon’s Crown Pub, 6:00p

Guys, if following Jesus doesn’t make us better men, then something’s wrong! We know that
there’s a life to be lived in Christ – full of His Spirit, full of His Word – and we don’t want to
miss it! Better Man is a gathering of men when we’ll talk straight form the scriptures about
who we’re to be, and how we can help each other become what God has always intended.
We’ll be meeting five consecutive Sunday nights, June 22-July 20, 6:00p, at Canyon’s Crown
Pub, 6958 E Tanque Verde Rd (SW corner of Tanque Verde & Sabino Canyon). They’re giving us
a deal – $3 off a burger and a pint. Can’t make them all? Come when you can…and bring a
friend who needs to be introduced to our Christ. Five burgers, five pints, five weeks … that’s all
we ask!

Sundays

Children’s Sunday School is on break for the summer, and will start up again on August 10th. For grades preschool-5th grade  10:30-11:30a, after the 9:00a worship service.

Tuesdays

“Levites” (Worship Music Ministry), 6:00p, sanctuary

Wednesdays

Men’s Breakfast: Wednesday mornings, 6:30a at OINK (breakfast. lunch. bacon.), on Kolb and Broadway NE. Pastor Hartley leads a teaching through a book of the Bible.

Thursdays

Adult Bible Study: Josh Palmer, pastor of our sister congregation Cross & Crown Lutheran Church here in Tucson, leads this study. 9:30a in the Music Room.
